Resource: Guide to the Eight Professional Competencies for Higher Education Substance Misuse Prevention

This guide is designed to promote enhanced professional skills with college students’ decisions surrounding drugs and alcohol. This resource describes the competencies required to maximize student success and well-being with a focus on reducing risky behaviors and harm associated with students’ substance use. This resource is accompanied by an eight-part weekly webinar series highlighting each of the individual competencies. These webinars begin the week of July 10 and end at the start of the academic year. Learn more.
