Through this solicitation (PDF, 26 pages), OJJDP will provide funding for a national membership and accreditation organization to support training and technical assistance and implementation of national standards for 2024 Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs). CACs provide a coordinated response to victims of child abuse through multidisciplinary teams composed of representatives from community agencies and professionals involved with intervention, prevention, prosecution, and investigation systems that respond to child abuse cases.
